Which wineries do we visit?
For the Sonoma Group Tours, we typically start at Bartholomew Estate Winery, then drive over to Winery Sixteen600 for another tasting and lunch, and finish at Toje or Larson Family Winery. For the Napa Group Tours we start at Saintsbury Winery, enjoy wine and lunch at Pestoni Family Winery, and end at Monticello Estate or Regusci or Stewart Cellars.
For the private “curated” tours, we book this same itinerary. Completely custom itineraries are welcomed for an additional $100. We can then visit your choice of winery, unless of course it is out of our service zone (most mountaintop, windy/hilly roads, and anywhere outside of Sonoma Valley or Napa Valley)
Where do you pick up your guests?
For the Sonoma Group Tour, we pick up right in front of the historic Sonoma City Hall. For the Napa Group Tour, we pick up at the corner of Coombs and 2nd St. downtown. There are free parking options at both locations.
For private “curated” tours, we pick up at these same locations. For custom, door-to-door pick up and drop off we meet you at your preferred location, usually an area hotel or home.
How much do the wine tastings usually cost?
Napa wine tours tend to be a bit more pricey than Sonoma tours. On average, you can expect to pay between $45-$65 per person on our curated and group Napa tours. If you’re customizing your own itinerary, tasting prices can go up to $150+ at some wineries, depending on where you want to visit. Sonoma tours on average cost between $35-$50 per person.

Can I customize my own Napa wine tour itinerary?
Absolutely! We offer tours curated by the West Wine Tours team but also the flexibility to create your own personalized itineraries. We charge an additional $100 for custom itineraries to support the additional logistics and coordination as well as $100 for custom, door-to-door pick up and drop off such as your hotel or rental home. You can handpick the wineries you wish to visit, choose the specific types of wines you want to taste, and even select the duration of each stop.
Are there any restrictions to wineries we can visit?
Be mindful that our old, loved buses cannot make it up steep includes, travel on the 101 highway, or take very windy roads when selecting your wineries. We will let you know if we can't visit a winery on your wish list.
